Job Description

Program Manager for a highly sensitive contract, providing expert-level advisory and program management services regarding DoD IT Enterprise Architecture, IT Infrastructure, secure communications, mobility solutions and requirements for a high availability, workstation-based, computer network.  Must be proficient in IT and Program Management standards, principles, practices, processes and be forward leaning thinker in IT portfolio management, cloud and IT security architectures.


The ideal candidate will be able to lead and provide direct input in solving complex issues, able to think strategically to address issues and implement plans for high optempo, always-available, constantly changing environment. He/She must present and communicate professionally with experience communicating with Senior Executive Level officials of the government. He/She will be responsible for overall customer satisfaction, contract performance, team and staff management.

Required Skills/Experience/Education


Key Responsibilities:

  • Governance: Establish and communicate program goals, requirements, guidelines and structure, conducting regular compliance reviews
  • Management: Oversee the planning, execution and evaluation of  projects, including all deliverables
  • Financial Management: Participate in and may define budget planning process and manage project budgets to achieve established targets
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify, mitigate, and report on risks
  • Infrastructure: Implement project management standards, technology, and other factors in the work environment supporting our contracts and programs
  • Planning: Coordinate project activities and define schedules that take place with multiple dependencies and with different goals while meeting the requirements and expectations of internal and external customers
  • Talent Development:  Ensure appropriate training and performance evaluation of team members
  • Business Development:  Serve as liaison between all key stakeholders, providing subject-matter expertise to solving business and technology challenges for customers, is responsible for regular communication with customer, ensuring continuous improvement to customer satisfaction, participate in proposal development process, including proposal writing, and seek opportunities to innovate both internally and with customers



  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and minimum 15 years’ experience
  • ITIL certification highly desired
  • PMP certification required
  • Strong understanding and background in Enterprise IT Services/IT Infrastructures and DoD architectures
  • Executive level support experience within DoD or at a cabinet level
  • Experience managing a staff of 30-40 personnel
  • Strong inter-personal skills 


  • Prior military experience preferred
  • Prior experience working at the Pentagon strongly preferred
