  • Job Description

    NetCentrics provides the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security and other federal agencies with leading IT services including IT Strategy, mission applications, infrastructure and platform services, cloud solutions, service delivery and cybersecurity.

     

    NetCentrics is looking for an A&A Project Lead to support our team in Alexandria, VA. 

     

     

    Specific duties include:

     

    • Facilitates kick-off meetings with system owners, senior decision makers, and management to review A&A schedules for the upcoming year, and address new requirements, policy changes, or other modifications affecting information technology program offices and systems
    • Conducts technical evaluations of software and hardware products to identify their capabilities and potential use within the organization’s information technology security program
    • Evaluations and assessments should consider other Federal departments that have experience with similar products or capabilities, and shall include lessons learned or best practices prepared by the organizations
    • Evaluation will also include training and staffing requirements needed and their relevant information essential to the successful implementation of the products or capabilities
    • Conducts technical evaluation of software and hardware products, associated development of lessons learned, and training needs for implementation
    • Monitor Department trends and perform analysis to determine gaps within service offerings ensuring alignment with agency strategic strategy
    • Possess strong RMF, cyber security policy, and NIST knowledge
    • Strong technical writing skills to support POAMs, Risk Acceptance, Security Assessments, and other important artifacts supporting the agency

     

    Requirements:

    • Must have MS project experience
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills
    • Must be able to provide high-level briefings
    • Self-Starter
    • Must have extensive knowledge in DoD and NIST frameworks in developing risk responses to federal mandates, USCYBERCOM, DISA, and US-CERT
    • Clearance: Active Security Clearance: Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
    • Education: BS degree or above
    • Certifications: IAM Level II Certification: (CAP, CISSP, CASP CE, CISM, GSLC) 
    • Years of Experience:
      • 12 + years of experience in the cybersecurity area
      • 8 years of experience in Assessment and Authorization
      • 3 years of experience in Security Control Assessor/Validator
      • 5 years of work experience in project management
