    NetCentrics provides the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security and other federal agencies with leading IT services including IT Strategy, mission applications, infrastructure and platform services, cloud solutions, service delivery and cybersecurity.


    NetCentrics is looking for an experienced Marketing Coordinator to support our team at the Headquarters in Herndon, VA.


    Specific duties include:

    • Use good judgment, a professional appearance and demonstrated social skills necessary to represent NetCentrics
    • Develop, implement, and manage corporate brand strategy, social media strategy, and overall marketing strategy
    • Manage all aspects of social media – from content development, to administrative tasks and management
    • Manage relationships with numerous editors at target publications
    • Create stories that inform, persuade, build relationships and impel action in the technology, government, and social realms
    • Continuously analyze market trends, competitive analysis, and breaking news and prepare content and adjust strategy based on findings
    • Identify conferences, speaking opportunities, and other media events for executives, subject matter experts, and other personnel
    • Identify and assess tools and applications for purchase that augment corporate ability to achieve goals
    • Coordinate and collaborate with HR, BD, Ops, Recruiting, as well as on-site staff and federal customers
    • Develop content for alumni and current employee newsletter and manage development and distribution
    • Maintain and update lists of local and national press contacts
    • Drafts written content including press releases, long-form bylines, blog posts, and media pitches
    • Serves as liaison and onsite media support for clients during interviews and trade shows
    • Assisting with writing assignments by drafting and proofing media relations materials
    • Assisting with media outreach and conducting follow-up on media pitches and customer stories to press
    • Updating NetCentrics website and social media accounts as needed
    • Identify award opportunities and coordinate the completion of award nominations and applications



    • Will have a strong understanding of government contracting and acquisition
    • Must have excellent professional communication skills to include the ability to summarize information and clearly articulate key points
    • Focus on copy writing skills by managing relationships with subject matter experts to develop content for publication
    • Professional appearance and ability to build positive relationships with customers, employees, and partners
    • Able to work independently as well as on team assignments
    • The ideal candidate will be extremely responsive to all emails and calls; will have a dedication to follow up and follow through to all communications
    • Expert knowledge of social media to include but not limited to:  Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, etc. including navigating and collecting information from various data sources
    • Strong analytical skills, including ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while effectively shifting priorities, often under tight deadlines
    • Travel:  Must be available to travel for conferences and media events and willing to work outside of standard business hours
    • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, business, public relations, communications, or a related field. Preferred
    • Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years related experience. Minimum of 4 years of placement and publication experience
