NetCentrics is looking for an experienced Deskside Support Team Lead to support our team in Alexandria, VA.  This position is open only to candidates with an active Secret DOD security clearance. 

  

Responsibilities Include:

 

  • Lead a dispersed team of Desk Side Technicians focused on installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining PC and Mac hardware
  • Ensure the efficient, effective and practical IT desktop solutions that achieve favorable Key Performance Indicator (KPI) results
  • Monitor and manage IT performance through Remedy system
  • Develop and maintain staffing schedules
  • Coach, mentor, and train staff
  • Review employee time cards and expense reimbursement requests
  • Direct Desk Side team activities to efficiently respond to customer requests for technical service received via phone, email, voice mail, and walk up
  • Create work schedules, complete the shift handoff reports, and provide ideas for improvement in daily operations
  • Perform the duties of a technical expert on the shift
  • Instruct, correct, train and mentor the Service Desk team in the proper performance of the standard operating procedures and professional customer interaction
  • Participate in daily reporting requirements to team and management as well as function as the team “GO-TO” for any operational questions and support
  • Ensure proper ticket escalation and hand off procedures are follow and Desk Side targets are achieved
  • Daily ticket auditing to ensure proper categorization of tickets and completion of notes and summaries

  • Account for everyone on team daily. Validate hours worked. During absences ensure workload is re-distributed, tickets are re-assigned, pre-scheduled appointments are notified. Ensure proper staff at required locations.
  • Ensure admin tools, admin URLs, and SOPs are available at all times to support helpdesk technicians. Provide input to update SOPs as needed. Update GAL.
  • Interact and coordinate with other leads, supervisors and managers as needed for resolution of escalated issues, successful implementation of processes, and knowledge sharing. 
  • Be administratively and technically proficient.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • University Degree in a related field or 4+ years of progressively responsible experience leading a deskside or helpdesk team
  • Must have a minimum of an active Secret Clearance
  • Microsoft Certification is preferred
  • Help Desk Institute (HDI) Certification within 30 days of hire
  • Security + Certification required

NetCentrics is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to support a DoD customer at the Pentagon. This is an opportunity on an existing government contract. The Candidate will operate as part of a team providing A&A and cyber security responsibilities to a large enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills.


Responsibilities Include:

• Tracking and coordinating A&A activities for multiple applications and systems.
• Analyzing vulnerability reports from multiple sources and implement solutions to resolve outstanding findings.

Accounts Management Lead is responsible for overseeing teh Accounts Management staff and controlling network access for all users in the JITSPP environment.  These responsibilities include network account creation, modification, and disablement via Active Directory.  Account Managers must maintain the role of Entitlement Manager with DISA for Defense Enterprise Email (DEE) which authorizes mail provisioning and deprovisioning.  This Entitlement Manager role also authorizes the creation, modification and deletion of Non-Persona Entities (NPE's), these include group mailboxes, calendars, rooms, distribution lists, etc.  Other responsibilities include managing shared drive access and security groups, privileged accounts, external accounts, home drives, etc.  Technician works directly with other groups like Server Operations and Cyber Security to ensure all network accounts are maintained properly and according to appropriate DoD directives and IA initiatives.  This position is open only to candidates with an active DOD Secret security clearance.

 

 

Specific duties include:

 

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve incidents at a Tier ll and Tier lll level
  • Maintain full ownership of ticket through its lifecycle
  • Utilize the knowledge base and other support documentation to identify, isolate, diagnose and resolve end users technical problems and provide information and status as requested
  • Enter all troubleshooting performed and, if applicable, the resolution
  • Escalate tickets to the appropriate support group if required by warm transfer

Specific Areas of Responsibility:

 

  • Develop and manage JSP CSSP project schedule ensuring milestones and ML are achieved
  • Functional responsibilities include ensuring completion of appropriate actions and activities, and preparation of required artifacts to ensure full compliance with the Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) evaluation criteria
  • Coordinates cross functionally internal to the organization as well as with higher headquarters commands to ensure the highest level of maturity as deemed by the government
  • Supports preparation activities for all Cyber Security Service Provider Subscribers, to include service level agreement development, coordination and organizational integration of cyber security
  • Must be an excellent communicator to agency stakeholders ensuring artifacts are obtained and meet ESM criteria
  • Must be able to manage matrixed resources in support of CSSP and/or audit requirements
  • Must provide content management for related artifacts in support of CSSP
  • Must interface with Continuous Monitoring Team ensuring CONMON is ongoing throughout the year
  • Possess expertise in conducting CSSP audits, including compliance assessment and continuous valuation of maturity levels within the evaluators scoring metrics (ESM)

Supports space management tasks related to property accounting, receiving, decommissioning, documentation and control. Coordinates facility maintenance activities, including submission and tracking to completion of all alterations and repairs. Provides general logistical and inventory/property control support as required.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Conducting periodic quarterly inspections and internal audit reviews of the operational facility to identify/assess safety hazards, document results, and delivering reports
  • Assisting the customer with investigating specific incidents and assisting other customer authorities for scheduled and unscheduled inspections and audits
  • Assisting in the development of safety and environmental internal audits to monitor the progress of any necessary corrective actions in accordance with prescribed laws, regulations, and initiatives, and evaluating facility environmental and safety practices and procedures
  • Tracking and labeling all IT hardware (servers, workstations, and peripheral devices), software operating systems and applications, cabling, and server racks.
  • Coordinating facility maintenance by submitting and tracking to completion all alterations and repairs to the facility.
  • Delivering documentation of electric power routing of all circuit breakers to respective racks/Power Distribution Units (PDUs), and update documentation when changes are made.
  • Ensuring that electric power is available from both a primary and secondary power feed from the two main facility PDUs when installing components.
  • Installing and maintaining network and power cabling and related equipment in support of the server room, cubicles, conference room, and office areas.
  • Tipping the power and network cables and testing them, creating and maintaining labeling standards, create and maintain documentation and drawings using Visio and other applications.
  • Attending weekly meetings, acting as a liaison for the customer, and providing customer management with information on upcoming events affecting power and other building and facility resources.
  • Maintaining server racks and properly place servers and other equipment in proper location as needed.
  • Supporting the bulk shipment or receipt of equipment or supplies within the USAITA-OPS CASD or to an alternate site
  • Conducting initial inspection and prepare Delivery Inspection and Acceptance Document (DI&A) for Government inspection within 3 business days after receipt of goods.
  • Provides configuration management planning.
  • Describes provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits.
  • Regulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software.
  • Will assist Asset Manager in conducting inventories of IT systems in space, perform spot checks, and assist with other Asset Management functions.
  • The ability to carry monitors, desktops, and other computer equipment up to roughly 20 lbs.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and hear; handle objects, tools, or controls; and is regularly required to walk.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of professional IT experience
  • 2 or more years in a management or technical team lead role administering operational computing environments
